Studio and life update for August, woo...

Its been a pretty busy summer so far. Lets see I did a couple shows that I didn't post about here, doh. Best to fan or bookmark my public facebook page for the best updates on shows and stuff:

I took some new paintings into Twilight in West Seattle a bit ago, probably going to go rotate out a few of those soon. I did my first ever show at Urban Light Studios in Greenwood and that was totally cool. I will be doing another show there in September, the theme is Mad Magazine...not sure what I will paint yet but Ill come up with something weird I'm sure. I also did the Mercer Island festival with fellow artist Jonathan Arras of Spirals In Love, his work is way cool and hes a totally cool guy:

Lets see what else, I went to Emerald City Comic Con, haven't been in a few years and that was fun. Its gotten bigger since I had a table in artist alley a few years back. I'm all signed up to do ECCC in 2012 so I'm pretty excited about that. I'm seriously considering Sakuracon as well but I haven't signed up for that yet. I also want to do Wondercon in San Fransisco but they don't have dates set yet so I don't know if Ill be able to do that if the dates end up overlapping one of the other cons Ill be doing, well see...I did finally send in my application for Comicon Intl. but there is a nice wait list for that so who knows when Ill be doing that, I may just send in some art for the art show until I get in.

Also have just been doing a lot of family / friend stuff. Laying in my yard in the sun. Went kayaking for the first time ever and it wasn't as terrifying as I thought it would be, I didn't flip over yay! Trying to get more work done in a day than is possible...the usual.

I have a ton of work and painting and stuff to do today, oh getting a shop set up for the site here to slowly working on that at the moment so not to much to say about that yet but hopefully Ill be able to unveil that finished very soon. ETA: Almost forgot I also did the Fremont solstice fair in June and it was awesome as usual :) Looking forward to that again next year!
